Let go of shame

Have you ever felt bad about being you?

For a time when I was a kid, I would have given just about anything to have been someone else.  I didn’t like way I looked, was painfully shy, and never seemed to fit in.  That time of my life was wrapped up in shame.

Shame is super uncomfortable.  It’s not a belief that you make mistakes, but that there is something fundamentally wrong with you.  Often it’s that voice inside of you that tells you you’re unworthy, not good enough, unlovable,  even worthless.  Continue reading Let go of shame

Find Your Calm

calmWhen clients come to see me it can be for just about any reason.  Sometimes I think I’ve heard everything – that is until the next person walks in the door.  But there is one thing my clients have in common.  No matter what the issue, ultimately every person wants to feel calmer and more centered.

When we are calm it is easier to clear our mind, bring in peace, feel more connected and be happier.  It can even lead to greater health.

We are all guilty of checking out to unwind (Facebook anyone…?) If you are looking for a way to truly calm your mind, here are some of my favorite tips to help you find some inner peace.
