I used to be a walking train wreck. On the surface my life looked pretty amazing. I had spent years living all over the world, from Africa to Asia. After coming back to the States I worked in fashion, managing a haute couture line. I regularly worked with celebrities and on TV shows. There were a lot of people that envied my life. What they didn’t know was on the inside I was so overwhelmed by self-doubt and anxiety I could barely function.
For years I went to therapists and tried different medications – It never got me very far. It was my first panic attack that changed everything. Sitting in a rental car unable to move, it felt like I was dying even though I knew I wasn’t. It was a life changing moment. I had a choice: find a solution or be dead by 40.
With an open mind and a massive dose of skepticism I decided to try hypnotherapy. After two short months I had freed myself from anxiety. Also gone was the negative inner voice that had bullied me most of my life. It was so life changing I decided to do a 180 on my life.
Sine then I have worked with hundreds of people helping them achieve the same inner balance and peace.
Your brain is an amazing tool. It is more powerful than you could ever imagine. Like any other tool, it can sometimes be misapplied. As a clinical hypnotherapist and active meditation specialist I teach people how to turn down overactive negative emotions then rewire old thought patterns. You can learn how to let go of the thoughts and ideas that hold you back. It frees your mind to live in the moment with more clarity, focus, motivation, and joy.
I am a certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with a state-licensed diploma from the Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy which is certified by the ACHE, The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. In addition, I have a BA in Political Science and History from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
I am a member of IAIH – The International Association of Interpersonal Hypnotherapists. The IAIH ensure both the ethical and professional practices of its members. IAIH certification requires a minimum number of supervised, in-depth hypnosis training hours. To qualify, the training must come from a state licensed school. Continuing education courses are also required prior to re-certification. Graduates must pass oral and written exams to prove knowledge and technical ability. My focus is both intuitive and personal.
*Please note, if you are under the care of a doctor for any medical condition for which you are seeking hypnosis support, a signed written referral from your medical provider is required. Hypnotherapy is not intended to take the place of professional counseling, medical, or psychological care and is not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment of any condition.
